What to Watch Tonight: The Winter Premiere of Suits, Plus New Episodes of Arrow, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Younger

What to watch on Wednesday, January 27...

8pm, CBS
2 Broke Girls
Earl is down in the dumps after his old jazz band fails to invite him to their reunion show in “And the Sax Problem.” Can the girls—and possibly jazz club owner Jackée Harry—help him get back in tune?

8pm, The CW
The reemergence of an old wartime enemy, an agent of the criminal outfit Shadowspire, forces the Diggle brothers to retain some mutual trust in “A.W.O.L.” In other challenges, Oliver adapts to a new way of life.

8:30pm, CBS
Mike & Molly
After a dozing Mike has his pocket picked in his own squad car, he cranks his vigilance levels up to 11 in “Super Cop.”

NEW NIGHT, 9pm, Fox
Hell’s Kitchen
The top 16 chefs prepare dinner service for VIP guests including Buzz Aldrin. But first, a communication challenge will send the winners to a swanky Santa Barbara retreat and the losers to a 100-pound heap of seabass in need of gutting.

9pm, The CW
A strange song seems to be tied to the grisly deaths of those who hear it in “Into the Mystic.” Everybody knew letting the girl from Ringu cut a record was a bad idea, but they went and did it anyway, the dopes.

9pm, Disney XD
Star Wars Rebels
The rebels discover a shortcut to new hyperspace routes in “The Protector of Concord Dawn.” But before they can take advantage they’ll need the permission of a local system leader, not to mention learning the secret access code of “up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, start.”

9pm, PBS
“Himalayan Megaquake” examines the enormous earthquake that devastated Nepal in April 2015, including the reasons for the disaster’s magnitude, the responses of the Nepalese people in its aftermath, and the chances of a comparable quake occurring again.

In “Blowback,” Jessica and Harvey concoct a cunning plan to defend Mike now that the whole “not technically a lawyer” cat is out of the “seriously, how did they sustain this premise for four and a half seasons?” bag.

10pm, ABC
American Crime
New evidence precipitates DNA testing of the team, which forces Eric into a distressing revelation. Meanwhile, Taylor attempts to settle back into a normal life at a local public high school.

10pm, TV Land
“The Jade Crusade” finds Liza and Kelsey wooing their first potential author, a mercurial fashion blogger. But their target has more on her mind than a business deal.

10pm, CBS
Code Black
Leanne visits a prison to confront the drunk driver who killed her family in “The Fifth Stage.” At the hospital, Malaya’s patient Gordon Heshman is giving her the willies.

10pm, FXX
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia
The Reynolds twins adapt Dennis’s salacious memoirs for the silver screen in “Dee Made a Smut Film.” In other artistic ventures, Frank and Mac market Charlie as an eccentric genius.

10:30pm, FXX
