TV Wednesday
MasterChef - Sure, many people can’t get along without coffee — but having it as an ingredient of a food recipe? That’s another story, and one that the remaining chefs have to write as they tackle another mystery box challenge, in the new episode A Storm’s a Brewing. Whoever wins the round is immune from elimination in the next one, which involves the creation of a party platter. (Fox, CTV) | Photograph by: handout , THE CANADIAN PRESS-Bell Media

Mr. Robinson

Craig’s (Craig Robinson) attention is divided in a very big way in the new episode Can’t Buy Me Love. While trying to save his job and Jimmy’s (Ben Koldyke) by staging a fundraising auction, he’s distracted by Victoria’s (Meagan Good) potential move to New York. The show’s season finale, School’s Out for Summer, follows — featuring the veteran music group Earth, Wind & Fire in a story that finds Craig tempted by an offer to go on a year’s tour with them. After the Race

TSN’s James Duthie hosts this mid-season special featuring the first six teams to have been eliminated on The Amazing Race Canada. Duthie gives his own assessment of the remaining teams in the race, but most of the focus, appropriately, is on giving viewers insights and explanations they didn’t get when the original episodes aired. The booted teams also share personal observations of the teams still in the race that may provide clues to the eventual winners. (CTV)

Watt’s World

The French may have a reputation for being rude, but when journalist and host Nick Watt pays a visit to the country to see whether this stereotype is warranted, he quickly discovers that France is home to beautiful people, lovely scenery, sensational food, great wine and a vibrant history of culture and art. Now, if only he could understand why they keep peeing outdoors he could relax, in the new episode Are the French Really That Rude? (DTOUR)

Last Comic Standing

This show’s season clearly is moving right along, proven by the fact it’s already reached The Semifinals — Part 1, as this episode’s title confirms. Wanda Sykes (an executive producer) serves as guest mentor as 20 comedians try to secure a spot in the top 10, but only five will be chosen … as will also be the case in the upcoming second half of the semifinals.
