Supernatural star Jensen Ackles has cheekily posted a photo referencing The Walking Dead‘s gruesome baseball bat “Lucille,” which was of course wielded by his former on-screen father Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

“Hey Dad, you left something in the impala,” Ackles joked.

“I like the feel of this. Might have to give it a swing!”

On Twitter Morgan replied, “You weren’t supposed to find that. Gonna need her back son. I mean… I already gave you my car. And? I don’t know? Sorta, died for you.”

Morgan played John Winchester, father to Dean Winchester (Ackles) and Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki).

“Um… underneath the spare… I may of stashed a leather jacket? Can you send that as well? Need by Sunday.”
