Peter is the bookies fave already

Peter Andre is the latest celebrity to added to the Strictly roster but bookies have already made him the favourite.

William Hill have the Insania singer as 9/2 favourite to win the show followed by Georgia May Foote at 11/2 and Ainsley Harriott at 10/1.

William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly said: “Peter Andre will no doubt appeal to many of the viewers, given his reality TV history and should go far.

“We are convinced he will reach the latter stages of the show.”

The concept for this year's Strictly Come Dancing launch show has been revealed - and it's a case of all aboard the Strictly Express!

The show will have a train theme, and it has been revealed this year's celebrity line-up will be doing the locomotion from the red carpet to the ballroom.

They will then discover which professional dancers they are being paired with.

The launch show will also see the professional dancers and celebrities take to the dance floor together for the first time.

This year's show is hosted by the glamorous duo of Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.

So far, seven celebrities have been confirmed for the show, with the latest being singer Peter Andre.

Other names confirmed include BBC weather presenter Carol Kirkwood, who made her Strictly debut on BBC Breakfast.

She said: "It feels really exciting, it doesn't even feel real yet, we haven't started dancing or training or anything yet."

Other names confirmed so far include celebrity chef Ainsley Harriott, broadcaster Jeremy Vine, former Coronation Street star Georgia May Foote, EastEnders actressKellie Bright and newsreader Katie Derham.

The 13th series of Strictly Come Dancing begins on BBC One in September.
