importantreview 8 March, 2018 at 00:48 Reply That”s why primetime can”t be viewed anymore as an exclusive determination on how well the Olympics are rating anymore. All of the windows now especially late night have to be counted in because NBC is really counting the west coast markets now since live coverage is bleeding into those hours now. Ratings are really outdated and with the ratings getting smaller every year we”re going to have to go into a different metric at some point. The great thing about the Olympics right now is that you still got a lot of people still watching it compared to regular programming that”s why all of the windows have to be monitored now. When I saw how well the late night numbers were doing over past years even 2010 as well that let me know that the Olympics are being monitored differently now especially on NBC”s end. I saw so many major events taking place in late night this year more than ever usually the main events are wrapped before primetime coverage has ended but that”s not the case anymore we even had the gold medal hockey games air in late night on NBCSN this year.
