TEN Network chairman David Gordon says the metropolitan network has no interest in acquiring the television assets of Southern Cross Media.
Southern Cross CEO and former TEN boss Grant Blackley recently flagged selling Television assets to TEN.
But Mr Gordon told Fairfax Media, “TEN has no interest in acquiring the television assets of Southern Cross.
“The pace of technological change and the regulatory distortions which seem to favour international players and penalise domestic businesses make it difficult to assess the future and value of regional television assets.”
Southern Cross and TEN have been in an exclusive negotiating period until mid-March.
