Prime Suspect 1973

Alun Armstrong looks like he is having the time of his life playing dodgy old lag Clifford Bentley, and this week sees the crook released from prison and immediately getting stuck into working on the bank robbery he has been planning.

Thanks to their past dealings, Bradfield is keeping an eye on the aged villain, but the dour cop also has something else to worry about as rumours spread concerning his closeness to Tennison.

Meanwhile, the investigation into Julie Ann Collins’ murder has taken a shocking direction after last week’s revelations and some dark questions are asked, but the twists and turns keep on coming as the team continues to search for the mysterious Oz.
