The president will appear in the season seven premiere, which has been moved up to a Dec. 30 launch date.
President Obama is ready to go for a ride.
The commander in chief is set to appear on the season seven premiere of Jerry Seinfeld's series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, it was announced Monday.
Additionally, the season premiere has been moved up a week to Dec. 30 at 11:30 p.m. ET on streaming home Crackle.
This marks the latest unconventional TV gig for the president, who recently appeared on Running Wild With Bear Grylls earlier this month. The president and his wife, first lady Michelle Obama, have never been afraid to use media appearances to push forward their own initiatives during their seven years in the White House. The first lady recently collaborated with Saturday Night Live star Jay Pharoah for the hip-hop song "Go To College," which has since made its way onto the Billboard charts.
The president's stint on Seinfeld's show comes as he ends into his final year in office.
Seinfeld has lured many big names to his Crackle series over the years. Other guests for the upcoming season include Will Ferrell, Steve Martin and Garry Shandling.
