The series premiere was not as good as I hoped it would be. I expected to see an episode that was comical with a decent story, but that wasn't the case. Episode 1 lacked humor, and the plot was uninteresting. The best part of the show was how they connected the show to the DC Universe. Having Bruce Wayne's cousin as the boss is cool, especially cause his primary goal is to one day work for Wayne Enterprise in Gotham. The gadgets that the team made were ok, and hopefully they will get more interesting. I did like seeing the superheroes and villains battling above the city, destroying sh*t and f*cking up everything. Although the show started out on a low, the sky's the limit and maybe the writers will turn things around.

Emily Locke lands her dream job as Director of Research and Development for Wayne Security in Charm City, home to super heroes and villains and citizens fed up with the collateral damage of their constant fighting. Full of confidence and big ideas, Emily quickly learns that her aspirations far exceed those of her new boss and officemates, so it will be up to her to lead the team toward their full potential and the realization that you don’t need superpowers to be a hero.
