We're only one day into the third week of the fall season and one show has already signed its death certificate. If you've been following my weekly ratings wrap-ups (Week 1,Week 2), then you know Fox's Minority Report is not long for this world.
But with Monday's ratings released this morning, Minority Report's demise may come even sooner than we thought. Last night's episode thudded to the ground with just 2.28 million viewers and a sad 0.7 rating in the 18-to-49 demo, according to TV By the Numbers, a considerable drop off from its Gotham lead-in, which posted 4.21 million viewers and a 1.5 rating. That's a drop of over 50 percent in the precious young money-spending crowd. Minority Report's three-week ratings look like this: 1.1, 0.9, 0.7. The good news? Minority Report beat The CW's Whose Line Is It Anyway?
This leaves two questions, which you all will help me answer. First up, let's put our heads together and come up with a consensus of how much longer Minority Report has. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
