Judd Apatow famously broke up with television after his experience creating the fantastic but underappreciated Freaks and Geeks and Undeclared soured him on the television process, but he's falling in Love again thanks to Netflix. Love, Apatow's first TV show since 2002's Undeclared, is headed to the online television behemoth soon. And now we know when! Netflix announced the rom-com will debut February 19 in this New Year's appropriate teaser announcement:
Love stars Uprights Citizen Brigade comedian Paul Rust and Community's Gillian Jacobs (Britta!) and is another of those "contemporary looks at modern dating" things that are so hot right now. Netflix has already ordered a second season which will air next year.
Given Apatow's involvement, this surely would have made our list of Most Anticipated New Shows for Midseason had Netflix announced the date like a week ago.
Love will drop all 10 episodes of its first season Friday, February 19 on Netflix.
