Janet is overwhelmed with guilt about Blakely's death, and Det. Since the Blakely case is on hold, Tony wants Janet to take the day off. Janet refuses, so Tony tells her to talk to Tracey for a new case.

Janet's next case is Neville Simpson, a meth cook who is charged with killing a drug dealer who stole from his suppliers.
There was no gun or DNA found at the scene, but a witness named Sabina saw it all.
Richard asks Tracey if he could file the adjournment for the Blakely. Tracey tells him that it is a job for a junior solicitor, but Richard insists.
The Gail gives Tony and Rizzoli a piece of her mind. She tells them to clean the Blakely case up as soon as possible.
Richard's reason for wanting to court was to see Tatum. He apologizes for what he said the last time they met. She tells him that he can't keep her job looking for her.
Rizzoli and Andy question Blakely's daughter about where he might be. She does not think that her father committed suicide.
Rizzoli and Andy question Blakely's son about where he might be. He does believe that his father could have committed suicide.
Rizzoli and Andy meet at Blakely's abandoned car. Andy tells him that there are no signs of a crime. They are starting to believe that it was a suicide.
Janet has a drink at home with Ashleigh. She's having a bad day, and wonders if their kids will respect what she does when they grow older.
Andy goes to question Blakely's neighbor. He then talks to the neighbor's son. The boy gives Andy some video footage.
Andy shows the footage to Rizzoli. He tells him that there was a car parked outside of a Blakely's house. The car was registered to a Brian Vincent. Andy asks if he and his mother were near Blakely's home on the day he went missing. Brian asks if he needs a lawyer.
Andy goes to search Brian's mother's house.
Rizzoli goes to tell Janet what he found out from Brian's mother. He want's the case fast-tracked, but Janet says that they need more.
Lina argues with Andy about Brian's mother, Diane, and her involvement with Blakely's disappearance. Andy assures her that they will be great parents when they have kids.
In court, Janet asks Sabina about what she witnessed, but she denies seeing anything.
Andy and Rizzoli want to move on their notion that Brian's mother killed Blakely, but Janet tells them that there is reasonable doubt. They storm out mad.
Andy and Rizzoli tell Blakely's kids their intentions of prosecuting Diane.
Rizzoli and Andy go to meet with David. They want to go behind the DPP's back and prosecute Diane anyway.
Erin meets Sabina in front of the courthouse. She reassures Sabina that she is doing the right thing in testifying.
Before going in, two men on a motorcycle ride up and shoot them both.
