There are two new faces pulling the strings behind House of Cards. Writers Frank Pugliese and Melissa James have been promoted to showrunners of the Netflix political drama, the streaming service announced Friday. Both Pugliese and James joined the show in 2013 before Season 3 and will take over creative control for the show’s fifth season following the departure of creator Beau Willimon.
The news comes just one week ahead of the House of Cards Season 4 premiere on Friday, March 4. This season, Frank (Kevin Spacey) and Claire (Robin Wright) will have to learn to put aside their differences if they want to get back into the White House.
