Emayatzy Evett Corinealdi is an American actress from Fort Knox, Kentucky.
She is of African-American and Panamanian descent. Emayatzy is best known for her leading role as Ruby in the Ava DuVernay film Middle of Nowhere. Emayatzy can currently be seen playing the role of Tessie Graham on the Hulu TV series Hand of God.
