A German-born New York native, Zazie Beetz was raised between Washington Heights and Berlin, speaking both German and English with her family at home.
She is known for her roles as Rain in Applesauce, Allie on Margot vs. Lily, and Victoria in Wolves. Zazie can currently be seen playing the role of Vanessa/Van on the FX TV series Atlanta.
