‘General Hospital,’ Steve Harvey Top Daytime Emmy Awards

“The Bold and the Beautiful” actor Scott Clifton becomes first to win Emmys in younger actor, supporting actor and lead actor categories

“General Hospital” was named the year’s best daytime drama series and Steve Harvey won two awards for hosting at the 44th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, which took place on Sunday evening in Pasadena.

Harvey won one award for Outstanding Game Show Host for “Family Feud” and another for Outstanding Informative Talk Show Host for “Steve Harvey.”

“The Bold and the Beautiful” actor Scott Clifton won in the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series category, making him the first actor to have won Daytime Emmy Awards in the lead, supporting and younger actor categories for the same role.

Among the daytime dramas, “General Hospital” won four awards, “The Young and the Restless” won three and “The Bold and the Beautiful” won two.
