Eleven Back for Season 2 of 'Stranger Things'!

When Stranger Things was renewed for Season 2 in August, creators Matt and Ross Duffer played it coy when asked if Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) would be back, telling Entertainment Weekly that the mysterious psychic child's return was still "up in the air."

And Eleven's status on the show was unclear, too, as she was sucked back into the Upside Down while fighting the demogorgon in the season finale. It seemed like she might be dead, but then Chief Hopper (David Harbour) was seen putting Eggo waffles, her favorite snack, in a box by the side of the road, as if he was leaving food for her to eat in wherever she was hiding out. What does it mean? Stranger Things isn't going to leave us hanging about seeing our favorite weirdo again, is it?

Well, according to TVLine, there's no need to worry, because sources close to the show have confirmed that Brown will be back. has reached out to Netflix for confirmation.

Season 2 of the Netflix sci-fi hit is coming sometime in 2017 and will consist of nine episodes. It will be set in 1984, about a year after the events of Season 1. American Odyssey actress Sadie Sink will join the cast as a suspiciously Eleven-like tomboy, and Joe Keery (Nancy Wheeler's magnificently coiffed boyfriend Steve) and Noah Schnapp (the formerly missing Will Byers) have been promoted to series regulars.
