Chicago Fire (NBC) Full Episode & Recap - "When Tortoises Fly"

"When Tortoises Fly"

The motive behind the conspiracy against Boden is revealed; Severide reaches out to a recent flame for help.

The Boden (Eamonn Walker) conspiracy plot thickens when Boden's mystery accuser shows up at the apartment building to collect her belongings. Boden's wife confronts the woman - who then vanishes quickly into a car with an unknown driver. After speaking to a state's attorney about the Roger Maddox case (the real estate developer behind the arson fire), it all makes sense to Boden: in an attempt to keep him from testifying, Maddox is behind the conspiracy. Severide (Taylor Kinney) attempts to help by reaching out to Jamie, his lawyer friend who works for Maddox. Though she denies knowing anything about the mystery woman, Severide notices Jamie's strong reaction upon hearing the woman's name. The episode ends with Boden being placed under arrest and led in handcuffs out of Molly's.

Otis (Yuri Sardarov) wants to ask Brett (Kara Killmer) out on a date again... but is beaten to the punch by a man Brett helped save in a car accident.

Chili (Dora Madison) is reprimanded by Boden when she is late for a shift. When Borrelli (Steven R. McQueen) goes to her place to check on her, he finds Chili's apartment a mess - and an empty wine bottle on the coffee table.

51 picks up an unlikely mascot for the week after acquiring a pet tortoise from a rescue call. After a comical investigation by Mouch (Christian Stolte) and Herrmann (David Eigenberg), the tortoise is returned to its rightful owner.
