The mother of all reality television shows is BACK. Big Brother is set to return in just a fortnight's time so prepare yourself for romance, arguments, friendships and undoubtedly a healthy sprinkle of bad language and nudity...
The politically-charged new series of Big Brother will kick off on Monday, June 5, Channel 5 has confirmed.
The reality TV programme, now in its 18th year, is to present a ‘culture clash of modern Britain’, show bosses have previously said.
Big Brother’s symbol, the eye, has been redesigned with a distinct political theme for its next outing.
Formed from a multi-coloured Union flag, the latest edition of the logo features a patchwork of eclectic images representing the UK, including a polling station, security cameras and a hand clutching a sign that says ‘We are all immigrants’.

The last series of Big Brother was won by Jason Burrill who described himself as ‘looking like a thug that sounds like Danny Dyer crossed with Frank Bruno’. Fans were outraged by the result and took to Twitter to vent their frustrations. Many even compared the result to Brexit. One user said: “Last night proves that the British public can make a wrong decision twice over a period of 3 months..#bbuk #Brexit #BBUKFinal”.
Who knows if Big Brother 2017 will be as controversial, but given the show’s track record we are sure it won’t disappoint…
