In The Second Woman, an epic piece of experimental theatre, Australian performance artist Nat Randall stages 100 intimate scenes with 100 male participants over 24 hours.
Presented in Association with Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts
Step inside a 24-hour live performance and cinema spectacle. Like bingeing on a box-set, you won’t be able to drag yourself away.
A diverse cast of 100 different men are invited to star opposite Nat Randall in a scene inspired by the John Cassavetes' cult film Opening Night. Randall performs the same short scene as an ageing theatre star on the brink of self-destruction on repeat. Watch as it shifts in meaning and emotion with each new participant. On-stage sparks fly and the sense of elation and anxiety is palpable.
