Based on the First Teaser, HBO's '70s-Set Vinyl Is Going To Be Your New Favorite Show (VIDEO)

From the minds of Martin Scorsese, Mick Jagger, and Terence Winter (Boardwalk EmpireThe Sopranos), Vinyl stars Bobby Cannavale as Richie Finestra, the president of a record label in '70s-era New York. The 10-episode drama is described as a "ride through the sex- and drug-addled music business at the dawn of punk, disco, and hip-hop." Finestra is trying desperately to save both his company and himself without burning everything and everyone else down in the process. Check out the minute-long teaser below and try to tell me you're not excited:

The series, which is slated to debut on HBO in 2016, has quite an impressive cast, too. In addition to Cannavale, the series' roster includes Olivia Wilde, Ray Romano, Ato Essandoh, Max Casella, P.J. Byrne, J.C. MacKenzie, Birgitte Hjort Sørensen, Juno Temple, Jack Quaid, James Jagger, and Paul Ben-Victor.
