The third season of Cinemax's Banshee was a game-changer. Siobhan was murdered, Hood gave up his post as Banshee sheriff for good, Job was kidnapped, Sugar finally got out from behind the bar, and Gordon died a badass hero's death to rescue Carrie. Based on what we know about the series, it's not unreasonable to think that not everyone will get out of Banshee alive in the final season, which officially premieres January 29 and sees Eliza Dushku join the cast as an FBI agent.
To be quite honest, based on what happens in the brand new trailer that just debuted at New York Comic Con, I don't know if ANYONE is getting out of Banshee alive. I've watched it several times now and I'm still a little speechless, so I'll just let you watch it and draw your own conclusions about what to expect.
Banshee has proven that it only gets better the longer it's on, which should make Season 4 the best yet. And based on that trailer—Carrie with a flame thrower, Hood no longer pretending to be a lawman or even caring about upholding the law, Job nowhere to be seen, Brock possibly in mortal danger—it sure looks to be shaping up that way. What do you think?
Banshee's final season debuts January 29, 2016 on Cinemax. Are you ready?
