America's Got Talent - Season 9

Twelve talented acts gave it everything they had last night during Week 2 of the quarterfinals and now the results from America's vote are in. Tonight will see seven acts go home, while five of America's favorites will move on to the semifinals. Before announcing any results, Howard calls out the other three judges for being too soft and reminds them that they're in search of a million dollar act, not mere entertainment.
Nick brings out the first group up for elimination - Hart Dance Team, Darik Santos and Andrey Moraru. After a long, dramatic pause, he lets America know which act they voted into the semifinals - hand balancer Andrew Moraru!
Next up, Nick only calls out two acts, singer Jaycob Curlee and divisive rollerblade dancer Juan Carlos. After a tense pause, he makes the announcement - Jaycob Curlee will be singing in the semifinals! Nick wastes no time in bringing out two more acts, Aerial Animation and Loop Rawlins. Suspense fills the Radio City stage until Nick reads the result - Aerial Animation is moving on!
Two more acts step forward to hear their fate from Nick - Livy, Matt & Sammy and Mat Franco. Tension mounts, but Nick cuts it short with the result from America's vote - Mat Franco! The magician will bring his act to the semifinals.
Mara Justine, ACTE II and John & Andrew take the stage next. Nick pauses for effect before announcing which act will go home... and it's dancing duo John & Andrew. That leaves the fates of ACTE II and Mara Justine in the hands of the judges for the final save of the night. After serious discussion about the talents of both acts, the judges vote and choose... singer Mara Justine to perform in the semifinals!
