Amazon has ordered a full season of Sneaky Pete, a new drama co-created by Bryan Badass Cranston and House creator David Shore. The pilot was released on Amazon on August 7 as part of its pilot program, in which user feedback plays a part in the pickup process. It's still currently available for viewing, and currently stands at a robust 4.6 out of 5 rating.
The series stars Giovanni Ribisi as a con man who assumes the life of his prison cellmate upon release, and tricks a family into thinking he's their relative while on the run from some bad guys who want him dead. While staying with the family, he joins their family-run bail bond business and catches guys even worse than himself. Also starring in the series are Margo Martindale,Marin Ireland, and Peter Gerety. Cranston also appears in a small role.
Another Amazon project, Casanova, is in good shape and Amazon has asked for more scripts. The drama stars Diego Luna as the infamous Lothario.
