Producers of the Calgary-shot sci-fi action series Wynonna Earp are being fairly specific about the sort of extras needed for “underground fight club” scenes.
“Faces could resemble the variety of looks that used to frequent the King Eddy Hotel in Calgary,” reads a notice for Wednesday’s casting call.
That apparently includes ‘Bikers with good character looks” or, in other words, badasses of the sort that would belong to an underground fight club. The casting call will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 2 from noon to 8 p.m. in the Kanata Room on the main floor of Hotel Blackfoot, 5940 Blackfoot Trail S.E.
The show requires bikers to be between the ages of 20 to 60. Bikes are not required.
Producers are also looking for men between 20 and 60 with a variety of other “character looks,” including “business types.” No experience is required.
Wynonna Earp is shooting in Calgary and surrounding areas until Feb. 15.
Melanie Scrofano plays the descendant of famed gunslinger Wyatt Earp, who becomes a part of a crime-fighting squad that focuses on ridding the world of demons and monsters.
