A new concept for the proposed 24 film is reportedly being considered by Imagine Entertainment.
According to TVLine, negotiations to bring the Fox series to the big screen have picked up pace in recent weeks, following the conclusion of mini-series 24: Live Another Day.
Imagine Entertainment chairman Brian Grazer is said to be keen to revive the project, but the idea has yet to be pitched to 20th Century Fox.
24 executive producer Jon Cassar recently told Digital Spy that there is still potential for a big screen outing for Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland).
He said: "We're still talking about it. It's still potentially out there."
Following the conclusion of 24: Live Another Day, Cassar said that a future installment wasn't in the works.
However, Fox CEO Peter Rice hinted that the show "has many more stories to tell", and that they plan "to sit down and talk to the creators".
